Halloween

Here are the kids on Halloween.  Marius is the cow, Bear is a ghost and AJ is the Ninja soldier.  The kids went from door to door in the neighborhood and collected candy to last until Christmas.

Tumbleweed Park

We went to Tumbleweed Park today.  The park is located in Chandler only 4 miles away from our house.  We had great fun at the park today, it is amazing what a bucket of Chicken from KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and a soccerball can do for family entertainment.

Soccer update

We might have started out bad (0-3) but we are sure on a roll now.  The coaching staff was fired and Bears team is now 2-3.  We won 4-1 today with Bear as a defender and goalie.  Bear had 5 saves today as a goalie. Great job Bear.

Fisherman AJ

What can I say, AJ is a great fisherman.  There is some serious work, screaming and panick behing this picture.  The story goes like this:

AJ is casting away (AJ had already spent days with Mom up in the Mountains earlier this year learning about the art of casting) and he catches a fish on his 3rd cast.  Mom freaks out and tells me that I am now reponsible for getting this fish into my hands so we can take the picture of the fish with AJ in the background.  As soon as I have had this responsibilty for about 2.5 seconds the fish unhooks himself and gets away.  I was facing an official scolding when faith came true and  AJ came true and caught another one, which resulted in this picture.  We now officially have proof for the history books.  AJ CAUGHT A FISH, GREAT JOB, AJ.

AJ & Bear

Another picture from our boating experience. AJ and Bear were being great on the boat.  Arizona desert in the background.

Co-Captain Marius

Marius was helping Mom as her Co-Captain.  Marius was a great help in making sure Mom steared clear of shallow water and cliffs.  Marius, you have future as a boater in Arizona.  Marius would like to end up with a "Waterfront property in Arizona"......

Captain Mom

Here is Captain Mom.  She loved driving the boat and being in charge of where we were going.  Mom says I am being a terrible back seat boater.  I have to fill her in about my true boating experience in Norway when we owned a 12 foot aluminum boat and a 20 horsepower outboard Mariner engine.  She has no appreciation of my adventures when I waterskied behind our 12 footer  in 30 foot waves coming off the Atlantic ocean.  I was actually waterskiing and driving the boat at the same time.  She does not believe me....

Trip to the lake

We all went to the lake this weekend.  We rented a 100 horsepower waterski boat with kneeboard, wakeboard and a fishing pole.  Bear went on the knee board and Mom and Dad went on the wakeboard.  We had some great moves, however, my cameraphone does really poor action photos.  I would have shown you my backflip on the wakeboard but you would not believe me because my face don't show very good when you do a backflip 70 feet away from the boat going 30 miles per hour.
