It is late September and we are going into a more pleasant weather period. It is colder at night now so the pool is getting colder also. Marius loves his swim suit which keeps him afloat, and is getting quite the dare devil as he loves to jump into the pool.
Got to go, see you later, Dad.

Hot September
I will do this one in Norwegian for my Mom and Dad:
Det er fremdeles godt og varmt i September, i dag er det 40 grader. Du maa holde deg i skyggen eller i badebassenget i dag. AJ, Bjorn og Marius stortrives i badebassenget. Bjorn hadde sin foerste fotballkamp idag med pappa som trener. Vi hadde fire 12 minutters omganger med mange vannpauser. Vi tapte 1-3, vi maa si opp treneren, det var daarlig taktiske loesninger fra treneren.
...and now in English:
It is still hot in September, it is 105 today. You have to stay in the shade or in the pool today. AJ, Bear and Marius love to play in the pool. Bear had his first soccer game today with Dad as the coach. We had 4 - 12 minute quarters with lots of waterbrakes. We lost 3-1, we need to fire the coach, no great tactical solutions from the coach.

Trampoline at Grandmas house
We went to Grandmas house today. Marius and Bear enjoyed the trampoline. It is 6pm and 103 degrees Fahrenheit (close to 35 degrees Celsius) and we are headed home to jump in the pool.
Hasta La Vista, Dad.

Bear went to his classmates (Grant) birthday party today while Marius, AJ and Dad went to the arcade. Mom had a well deserved brake today, so Dad was on duty. AJ and Marius had a great time. They both enjoyed car racing. It was cheap, Marius had just as much fun without tokens, while AJ needed a few tokens while he was becoming quite the experienced driver. I am glad we still have a few years before AJ becomes eligible for driving.

Bear and Marius are enjoying themselves in our pool. The best time to swim in Phoenix is at night. Marius loves to swim, and Bear enjoys his company. I just performed a back flip into the pool and landed violently, I am now sitting at the edge nursing my wounds. I was never good at this when I was twenty, and I am still not good at this at forty. Bear thought my backflip was very funny though.

This is our "goodlooking" Marius. The last few days, has been a troubling few days. It has now been about 2 months since Marius was diagnosed with Autism. We have been very concerned but have hope in that his talking is improving, and he seems to be doing better. Our occupational therapist said this week that we have some more signs that he is Autistic. He has "sensory issues" that are typical of Autism. He does not like to hold hands together with some other sensory issues. We now have to help Marius with these sensory issues by deep pressure manupulations, pillow fighting (this is going to be fun), playing with play dough, using swings, trampoline etc. We keep hoping his situation will improve.
